About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Inbound Reservations Manager to join our team at HotelJobs, a Destination Management Company based in Cape Town. As a key member of our team, you will specialize in crafting personalized travel experiences for individual and group travelers, utilizing your expertise in luxury travel planning to deliver seamless and tailored itineraries that combine the best accommodations, experiences, and local insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the reservation process, including responding to inquiries, preparing quotes, and confirming bookings.
  • Develop and customize travel packages for inbound tourists, including accommodation, transportation, and activities.
  • Build relationships with local suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage pricing and availability.
  • Ensure smooth coordination of all travel arrangements, from initial inquiry to the completion of the trip.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues or complaints.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the reservation process.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue generation.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 A formal Travel & Tourism qualification
  • At least 4 – 5 years management or supervisory experience in inbound tour operating
