About the Role
Hire Resolve, a reputable company based in Rivonia, Gauteng, is seeking a PR Civil Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the civil engineering department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects, including roads, stormwater, geometrics, sewer, and pavements.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management/Engineering Projects
- Design roads, stormwater, geometrics and pavements
- Planning, Investigating engineering problems and finding solutions
- Analysis and design of all related infrastructure
- Overseeing the production of drawings and other related infrastructure components
- Site inspection and supervision
- Checking and verifying engineering details on drawings produced by the drawing office
- Analysis and design of roads, water, sewer and other related infrastructure, manually and using design software
- Training and supervision of Technicians and junior engineers
- Checking of draughting work, general arrangement drawings and details
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B-Tech or B- Eng) in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
- 3-5 years of post registration experience in civil engineering
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction practices
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools
- Computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- PR. CPM advantageous
- SANRAL experience advantageous
- Practical training from an established firm
- Theoretical knowledge obtained from recognised South African University or international institution verified by (HSRC or CETA or ECSA)
