About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician with diamond mining experience to join our team in Angola. As an Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and manufacturing control system components to ensure plant availability and achieve production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct instrumentation activities to install/maintain/repair/manufacture control system components
- Install, maintain, repair, and manufacture control system components
- Work under pressure to meet production targets
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the mining and processing sector
Requirements
- Understanding and applying instrumentation best practices and standards
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations within the mining and processing sector
- Work under pressure
- Knowledge of engineering standards
- Basic computer and MS office skills
Qualifications
- N2 plus Trade Certificate through a recognised Institution
- Code 8
- Desired: T3/S4 or N6 plus Trade Certificate plus Code 10
