Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Computer Technician to join our client`s team and provide technical support and maintenance services. This role is ideal for a proactive individual passionate about IT and eager to gain work based experience.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, set up, diagnose, and repair PCs and other hardware and software components.
- Test and repair faulty IT equipment, including switches, gateways, routers, and PCs.
- Assist with basic networking and IT support tasks.
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications.
- Perform troubleshooting to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Prepare basic network and IT support reports.
- Document detailed and timely technical notes and fault reports.
Qualifications
- Matric – minimum N5
- CompTIA A+ and CompTIA N+ (or similar networking certification).
- CCNA certification is advantageous.
- CompTIA S+ (Security) Certification is a plus.
Skills
- Proven ability to assemble, diagnose, and repair PCs, as well as handle customer service support cases.
- Experience working with computers in a technical or support capacity.
- Exposure to networking principles and IT support tasks.
- Basic programming knowledge to assist with troubleshooting and IoT integrations.
- Familiarity or interest in IoT devices and their applications.
Salary / Package
Total CTC R6k to R7k Per Month
