Job Title Lead Trails Field Guide (2 Positions | Couples Welcome) Establishment Type 5* Luxury Safari Lodge Location Greater Kruger Area (Hoedspruit surrounds), Limpopo, South Africa Salary Package R15,000 CTC per month (Dependent on Experience) Live-in position Benefits include accommodation, meals while on duty, medical aid, and provident fund Work Cycle: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off Role Overview A 5-star luxury safari lodge in the Greater Kruger area is seeking two experienced Lead Trails Field Guides to join their professional guiding team. Applications are welcome from single candidates as well as Lead Trails Guide couples , provided both candidates meet the full legal and operational requirements. These roles require confident, guest-focused guides with strong bush knowledge, excellent safety awareness, and proven trails experience in high-end safari environments. Key Responsibilities Conduct safe and informative guided bush walks and game drives Deliver engaging interpretive experiences focused on wildlife, ecology, and conservation Ensure guest safety at all times, in line with operational and safety protocols Maintain professional guest interaction and hosting standards Assist with daily guiding duties, vehicle care, and operational support Uphold lodge service standards and guiding ethics Minimum Requirements (Essential) Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Field Guide in luxury safari lodges FGASA NQF4 with Lead Trails Guide qualification (essential) Valid LEDET / NDT registration Valid Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH) Valid First Aid certificate Valid PrDP Valid SAPS competency and clear criminal record Grade 12 / Matric All legal guiding requirements fully up to date Advantageous Experience in Big 5, high-density wildlife environments Strong guest communication and interpretive skills Calm, professional, and safety-driven guiding approach TO APPLY Apply with your current CV (including a recent head & shoulders photograph) , along with your reference contacts , ASAP.
