About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic couple who thrive in a bush environment and are passionate about hospitality, guest experience, and team leadership to join our lodge as the management team. The successful couple will be responsible for ensuring smooth lodge operations, maintaining high service standards, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily lodge operations and ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Host guests and maintain high standards of personalised service
  • Manage check-ins, check-outs, and guest communications
  • Ensure food and beverage service standards are upheld
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate lodge staff
  • Conduct training and performance management
  • Manage staff rosters and daily task allocation
  • Oversee reservations, billing, and reporting
  • Manage stock control and procurement
  • Monitor budgets and operational costs
  • Ensure the property is well maintained and presented to a high standard
  • Coordinate routine maintenance and address operational issues
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas

Requirements

  • Previous lodge or hospitality management experience essential
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Financial acumen and administrative competence
  • Excellent communication and guest-relations skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Valid driver’s licences
