About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Lodge Manager to take the reins of our exclusive Private Safari Lodge in the Mjejane Game Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National Park. As a 5* self-catering lodge, we require a multiskilled manager who is dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating guest check ins and outs efficiently
  • Fostering a welcoming and friendly environment ensuring guests are comfortable during their stay
  • Ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction by tending to guest concerns and complaints
  • Conducting game drives or arranging freelance guides for game drives when requested by guests
  • Managing housekeeper and housekeeping duties
  • Arranging relieve staff when needed
  • Managing gardens, maintenance, and general lodge upkeep
  • Arranging and overseeing lodge maintenance projects when necessary

Requirements

  • Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid First Aid qualification
  • FGASA qualifications will be an advantage
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
  • Excellent operational experience encompassing every aspect of Lodge Management including HR, Admin, FOH & Guest Experience
  • Ability to receive instruction and follow thought as required
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with guests, staff and shareholders

Qualifications

  • Valid PDP
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
