LODGE MANAGEMENT COUPLE VACANCY Position : Lodge Manager & Field Guide Couple Location : Luxury 5* Safari Lodge | Waterberg Region, Limpopo Salary : Highly Competitive | Live-In Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a dynamic and experienced management couple for a premier 5-star luxury safari lodge located in the breathtaking wilderness of Limpopos Waterberg region. We are looking for a skilled Lodge Manager and an equally passionate and qualified Field Guide to lead the team in delivering exceptional guest experiences at one of South Africas most iconic conservation destinations. LODGE MANAGER Key Responsibilities: Lodge & Team Management Oversee all operational functions of the lodge to ensure exceptional service and hospitality delivery. Maintain and uphold the brand and operational standards. Host key guests, site inspections, and industry professionals as required. Conduct weekly meetings and one-on-ones with HODs to maintain alignment and drive property goals. Actively address and resolve guest complaints with professionalism and a solutions-driven mindset. Staff Development & Leadership Identify and develop internal talent for succession planning. Implement training initiatives and support internal and external trainers. Facilitate performance appraisals and ensure developmental plans are followed through. Encourage open communication, professional conduct, and team motivation. Collaborate in operational forums to maintain alignment across departments and properties. ?FIELD GUIDE Key Responsibilities: Guest Experience & Safari Operations Deliver immersive, educational, and safe guided experiences through game drives, walks, and lectures. Uphold FGASA and internal guiding culture standards. Maintain top condition of all equipment, vehicles, and safari assets. Host guests and contribute to pre-arrival briefings, safety orientations, and bush events. Wildlife Interpretation & Content Sharing Contribute wildlife content to lodge social platforms and promote conservation awareness. Assist with emergency procedures when needed, including fire, medical, and evacuation protocols. ?MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Lodge Manager Minimum 3 years in a senior hospitality management role (5-star lodge essential). Strong leadership and staff management capabilities. Financial acumen and experience meeting/exceeding targets. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and administrative skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office; valid drivers license and own vehicle essential. Field Guide FGASA Nature Site Guide (NQF4) with Lead Trails preferred Valid ARH & Rifle Proficiency First Aid Level 1 Valid Drivers License and PDP Previous experience guiding in a luxury Big 5 environment is essential ?
