Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate reports of all maintenance done.
- Repair malfunctioning mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with other fitters and electricians on large-scale projects.
- Analyze and interpret blueprints for mechanical systems.
- Construct structural components from raw materials.
- Inspect fabricated components to ensure correct sizing and specifications.
- Conduct tests on malfunctioning systems to identify root causes.
- Replace damaged or defective components as needed.
- Adhere to all worksite safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications
- Matric Certificate
- Trade Tested Fitter
- 1 – 3 years experience within a manufacturing environment
