About the Role

Were seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to take ownership of the full upkeep and preventative maintenance of our luxury lodge. Youll ensure that guest areas, staff accommodation, equipment, and utilities are maintained to the highest standard, supporting seamless lodge operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance of buildings, guest rooms, staff quarters, and lodge grounds

• Lead a small team of maintenance staff and allocate tasks effectively

• Schedule and implement preventative maintenance plans

• Maintain and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other lodge systems

• Manage stock and ordering of tools, materials, and spares

• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and lodge sustainability practices

• Support lodge management with projects, refurbishments, and upgrades

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager / Supervisor in hospitality, game lodge, or similar environment

• Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance

• Strong organisational and administrative skills (budgeting, record-keeping, reports)

• Ability to lead and motivate a small team

• Drivers licence essential

• Flexibility to work in a remote location and be on standby when required
