Job Description

Skills & Competencies • Strong technical knowledge across general building maintenance disciplines. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems independently in a remote location. • Good leadership, organisational, and planning skills. • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship. • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. • Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies. Qualifications & Experience • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a maintenance role, preferably within a safari lodge or remote hospitality environment. • Proven supervisory or team leadership experience. • Trade qualification (electrician, plumber, carpenter, or similar) advantageous. • Basic knowledge of generators, and water treatment systems preferred. • Valid driver’s licence required.
