Job Summary

Managing Director required for our Clients new Gypsum Plant, which will support the production of their Gypsum Board business. Manufacturing is not expected to commence until early 2027. The role carries full P&L responsibility and involves leading the Gypsum management team, which includes functions across sales, operations, finance, business development, and engineering. Reporting to the Group Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding into new markets, mentoring and coaching the leadership team, and collaborating with international entities to implement successful strategies from other regionsall while navigating the evolving landscape of the Irish and UK construction sectors. We are seeking a senior leader who is committed to long-term growthsomeone motivated to drive the business forward and become an integral part of the groups executive team. This role offers exposure to a diversified organisation, collaboration with other Managing Directors, and the opportunity to contribute strategically to the groups overall success. A competitive remuneration package, including both short- and long-term incentives, is available for the right candidate. Project Management experience is an added bonus. Key Qualifications Proven leadership experience, with a track record of developing and retaining high-performing teams and managing businesses of 50 employees Experience in Gypsum and or manufacturing industries Demonstrable experience in P&L management Strong commercial acumen Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive growth Experience managing multiple routes to market Familiarity with, or willingness to work within, a family-owned business culture Proven experience in improving operational efficiencies and profitability Willingness to be based near, or commute to South East of Ireland This is a unique opportunity to lead a financially robust business with a highly engaged team and a strong market reputation.
