Apex seeks a Marketing Manager to join the team.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the companys marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, sales, and customer engagement. We seek an experienced Marketing Manager, proficient in technology and digital marketing tools to expand and integrate innovative solutions into our marketing strategies. Additionally, the role involves overseeing promotions, events, and advertising ensuring brand consistency and clear, impactful communication. The role requires a candidate fluent in French.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Digital & Social Media Marketing:

• Manage full cycle digital sales and marketing strategy with the Commercial Director.

• Manage, update, and develop content for company website.

• Plan and execute social media campaigns across WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.

• Oversee paid and organic digital advertisements, ensuring maximum reach and engagement.

• Monitor and update digital channels with current promotions, special events, and key brand messages.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Manage our customer service platform and the sales channels.

• Coordinate customer service tickets, ensure a high standard of service levels for customers, tend to general queries, manage customer concerns and complaints.

• Improve our business response times using technology.

Promotions & Advertising:

• Plan and execute Mega Sales, Stock Liquidation, Pop-Up Sales, and New Arrivals Promotions.

• Develop a quarterly activity calendar for marketing initiatives and promotional actions.

• Create a yearly calendar for special events, seasonal campaigns, and key business occasions.

• Lead all publication efforts related to Manze Magazine, including content planning, production, and distribution.

• Develop and prepare departmental catalogues, promotional flyers, and ensure up-to-date marketing materials.

Brand & Public Relations:

• Coordinate new product launches in collaboration with the procurement team.

• Support and manage brand sponsorships and partnership opportunities.

• Develop relationships with media outlets for newspaper ads, articles, and PR initiatives.

• Ensure brand alignment in all marketing materials and customer communications.

Event Management & Community Engagement:

• Organize and manage marketing-related events, including:

  1. Product tastings

  2. Beach cleanups and sustainability initiatives

  3. Special customer engagement events

• Invite, engage, and coordinate with department managers, sales teams, and operations to ensure seamless execution.

Marketing Strategy & Budgeting:

• Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.

• Create and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective campaigns.

• Track and analyze marketing performance, reporting key insights and recommendations to the Commercial Director.

Cross Department Coordination:

• The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with various internal and external teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.

  1. Commercial Manager on entire digital sales and marketing strategy (Direct Report).

  2. Sales and Brand Managers align marketing with business growth goals.

  3. Operations Managers to ensure promotional execution and logistics.

  4. Procurement Managers to support new product introductions and brand partnerships.

  5. IOEC and Meraki to align corporate branding and marketing strategies.

  6. Graphic Designer (who reports to the Marketing Manager) to develop marketing materials on schedule.

• Coordinate and deliver design work, plan campaigns, manage every campaign like a project ensuring deadlines are met.

• Excellent communicator, able to collaborate with people across the organization, work with customers, suppliers and managers.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in a Marketing Manager role; whereby you have implemented technology and intelligent solutions, handled customer relations and the use of complex online marketing tools.

• Strong knowledge of digital marketing, advertising, and social media strategies. Experienced in design of online campaigns. Ability to analyze marketing data and optimize campaigns.

• Experience with Meta for Business and Brevo are highly advantageous.

• Experience in event planning and execution.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills. Has very good attention to detail, is proactive, can anticipate and respond to problems and team requests. Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of budgeting and marketing financial management. Manage the marketing budget.

REMUNERATION:

• Salary will be market related and dependent on experience.
