• Develop and implement procurement strategies to enhance cost savings, quality, and supplier reliability.
• Source and qualify local and international suppliers, focusing on optimizing costs and quality.
• Build strategic supplier partnerships, negotiate favourable terms, and manage supplier performance.
• Oversee inventory levels, collaborate on budgeting, and monitor cost variances.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with policies and regulations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and resolve operational issues promptly.

 
Qualifications & Skills:

• Matric Certificate
• National Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• Mechanical Engineering background with machinist experience preferred.
• 5+ Years of Procurement Management experience in a technical or mechanical environment, preferably within the precision engineering industry
• 5+ Years of experience in Material Handling and Inventory Management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, market trends, and best practices
• Technical knowledge of machinery, equipment, and materials preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
