We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Night Auditor with strong hotel front office and accounting experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, confident in handling overnight operations, and skilled in balancing guest service with financial accuracy. Experience & Requirements Minimum 2 years hotel front office experience , preferably in a 4- or 5-star property Previous night audit or accounting experience essential Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management or Finance advantageous Proficiency in Opera PMS (essential) and Microsoft Office Strong numerical and reconciliation skills with attention to detail Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and handle overnight responsibilities with professionalism Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays South African citizen with a valid ID Duties & Responsibilities Oversee all front office operations during the night shift, ensuring smooth and efficient service Perform daily night audit procedures, balancing and reconciling all financial transactions Prepare and distribute financial and operational reports for management review Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations during the night shift Respond to guest queries, complaints, and emergencies with professionalism and care Monitor hotel security, conduct property inspections, and ensure guest safety overnight Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest requests and operational needs are met Perform cash-ups, reconcile payments, and ensure accuracy in all records Maintain a welcoming and professional front office environment at all times Important Application Notes Must hold a valid South African ID Only candidates with relevant hotel night audit/front office experience will be shortlisted Ensure your CV is 100% updated All applicants will attend a virtual introduction interview About the Hotel The President Hotel is on a journey to be recognised as a true luxury destination.
