Job Summary
Toolmaker opportunity for an automotive manufacturing company in the Eastern Cape
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or N3
- Toolmaker Trade Certificate
- 5-Years post trade experience within a press tool manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated working experience on or stainless steel pressing, advantageous
KPA:
- Plan, prepare and verify order documents with respect to completeness, functionality and feasibility based on experiences.
- Document production material and or equipment; corrects and amends drawings if necessary
- Inspect received parts and initiates rework or adjustments, if needed
- Support the final approval and technical release of the production and test equipment
- Conduct tests of production materials and or equipment
- Setup devices under consideration of operational standards
- Maintain equipment, dismantle deficient equipment and check according to nonconformity report
- Conduct and document repairs.
- Adjusts maintenance standards after consultation.
- Plans and coordinates allocated repairs after commissioning by the supervisor
