Job Description

Hire Resolve’s client, an independent logistics company is searching for an experience Project Manager to join their team in Dubai, must be a South African citizen.

????????????????:

Understand client requirements and perform quantity take–offs based on marking and RCP drawings.
Prepare BOQ by analyzing specification sheets and identifying discrepancies between BOQ, drawings,
and contract conditions.
Monitor and control costs throughout the project, identifying cost–saving opportunities.
Participate in pre–tender activities with clients, architects, and project managers, raising relevant pre–
bid queries.
Prepare initial quotes and contracts in coordination with the sales team.
Collaborate with the design team to analyze architectural and service drawings.
Manage the valuation of work done, handling claims and variations effectively.
Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering exercises to optimize project outcomes.
Prepare interim and final valuations, variations, and claims for the construction site.
Provide regular progress reports to ensure transparency and accountability

????????????:

Bachelors degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in quantity surveying or cost consulting, preferably in logistics facility
construction.
Proven experience working on construction projects in African markets.
Sound knowledge of construction industry practices, regulations, and standards.
Proficiency in cost estimation, cost management techniques, and relevant software tools.
Familiarity with contract administration and legal aspects of construction projects.
Strong analytical and problem–solving skills with excellent negotiation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex details.
