Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 10/12 or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years of welding or metal fabrication experience.
• Basic knowledge of MIG/TIG/Arc welding.
• Ability to read simple workshop drawings (advantageous).
• Experience working in a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of workshop safety.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding tasks under supervision.
• Perform basic welding, tacking, cutting, and grinding.
• Prepare metal components and materials for welding.
• Clean and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Follow welding instructions, drawings, and workshop guidelines.
• Assist in assembling metal structures and parts.
• Inspect welded work for accuracy, quality, and defects.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation.
• Support skilled welders in larger fabrication projects.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
