About the Role
Our client in the Utilities Industry is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for consulting on investigations, planning, design, and implementation of projects according to codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering Competencies:
- Consultation, investigation, evaluation, and planning of work processes and products
- Management of implementation of projects/plans according to codes and regulations
- Possession of a designated level of technical engineering skill or knowledge
- Project Management Competencies:
- Understanding the overall project life cycle of multi-disciplinary projects
- Appreciation for the dynamic relationships between all engineering disciplines on the project
- Ability to coordinate and administer programs, activities, and protocols
- Estimating and Costing Competency:
- Taking profit and loss/risk issues into account
- Rewarding effective decisions and behavior in support of efficiency management and business optimisation
Requirements
- 5 – 10 years related work experience
- Valid RSA driver’s license
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or a related field
