• Ensure production equipment is in good operating condition and well maintained. 
• Ensure correct setting of machines. 
• Complete fault analysis in case of malfunction or rejects. 

Responsibilities: 

• Identify, report and rectify all technical areas of concern on assigned production equipment (machines, moulds, etc.)
• Have and in-depth understanding of: 
  • Products and their quality criteria. 
  • Process (material feeding and drying, injection moulding, reheat stretch, blow moulding and injection blow moulding)
  • General knowledge of all equipment, including details for assigned equipment. 
  • Mould installation. 
  • Technical principles and drawings (e.g. assemblies and spare part finding, pneumatic, hydraulic, electric) 
• Fault analysis and problem solving. 
  • Independently do fault analysis and problem-solving in case of (teamwork as needed)
    • Product quality issues. 
    • Mould issues. 
    • Machine malfunction (mechanic, hydraulic/pneumatic/electric)
  • Recognise and report problems to the Maintenance Manager and Production Manager on other than the assigned equipment.
