About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join a luxury 17-room country hotel in the UK, offering a Michelin-star-level dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for farm-to-table cuisine and be able to turn locally sourced ingredients into exceptional fine-dining dishes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Executive Chef in all kitchen operations
  • Preparing and presenting high-end farm-to-table dishes with precision and creativity
  • Maintaining kitchen standards, hygiene, and food safety
  • Managing kitchen staff, scheduling, and training
  • Contributing to menu development with a focus on seasonal, local ingredients

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a luxury or Michelin-star-level kitchen
  • Genuine passion for farm-to-table cooking
  • British passport required
  • Strong leadership, organisation, and culinary skills
  • Attention to detail and love for fine dining

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certifications (if applicable)

Salary & Benefits

  • £45,000 – £50,000 per annum
  • Discounted Accommodation (~£600/month)
