STOREMAN -POS25252 Based: Park Lands; Cape Town Salary : R12 000.00 to 15 000.00 pm Qualification & experience Matric 2-5 Years experience in a warehouse/storeman role Computer literacy (experience with warehouse management systems SAP advantageous) Valid forklift license (advantageous) Valid drivers license Ability to overtime when required Duties (not limit to) Ensuring the Head of Stores and Production Control are informed of low stock and other shortages which may require re-ordering. Ensure all products are suitably packaged and that delivery service used is adequate to meet customer requirements. With the Head of Stores, maintain a safe working environment within the Stores areas and all current Health and Safety legislation is observed. Including basic “house-keeping”. Delivery and collection of product and material as required. Performing any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Department and Company. Keep inventory management system up to date. Carry out regular stock take. Pick up and deliver products using forklift. Organize and deliver goods from stores to the relevant department as required. Liaise with suppliers and handle queries relating to delivery and stock discrepancies. Perform incoming inspections and manage both customer and supplier return.
