Job Summary
Responsibilities:
? Lead and manage the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef ? Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to maintain the highest standards ? Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring skills development ? Manage kitchen stock, ingredient rotation, and maintain quality assurance ? Implement food safety, hygiene, and waste reduction protocols ? Assist with menu creation and ensure dishes meet quality, taste, and presentation expectations ? Maintain staff schedules and oversee daily operations What Were Looking For: ? Culinary Diploma with a minimum of 4 years experience in a senior chef role ? Strong leadership and team management skills ? Own transport & valid drivers license ? Excellent communication & organizational skills ? Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality cuisine ? Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends & public holidays ?
