Job Description

Our high-performing, JSE-listed financial services organisation that continues to deliver strong growth and market-leading results is on the hunt for a Technical Lead Developer with strong C# and Flutter skills.

This is a senior technical leadership opportunity for an experienced Tech Lead to work on key digital transformation initiatives, designing and building modern transactional websites, mobile applications, and line-of-business systems used at scale.

You will play a critical role in shaping system architecture and technical strategy, while remaining hands-on across mobile and web platforms. Working closely with business stakeholders, you’ll help digitise client journeys and deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead architecture and technical design decisions across mobile and web platforms
  • Set and enforce coding standards and best practices
  • Mentor and support a team of engineers
  • Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Lead the development of Flutter mobile applications (iOS & Android), including offline-first capabilities
  • Oversee app publishing and maintenance on the App Store and Google Play
  • Design and develop scalable .NET, Angular, and SQL Server solutions
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement

Experience and skills required

  • 10+ years’ experience in software development
  • 3+ years’ hands-on Flutter mobile development experience
  • Previous experience in a Tech Lead or senior leadership role
  • Strong expertise in C# .NET, Angular, and SQL Server
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, mobile testing frameworks
  • Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, DevOps, APIs)
  • Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders
