About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Chef De Partie to join our award-winning restaurant in Paarl. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dishes that showcase our commitment to using only the freshest organic produce. With a focus on wholesome farm-to-table cuisine, we require a talented and passionate individual who can bring innovation and creativity to our weekly changing menu.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
- Work effectively in both hot and cold kitchen environments, with a focus on plating multiple components
- Develop new dish ideas and create innovative garnish concepts
- Demonstrate good planning skills, work efficiently, and maintain a clean and hygienic working environment
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
- At least 4 – 5 years industry experience within Fine Dining / Top 10 standard establishments
- Culinary strengths in Hot & Cold Kitchen with experience in plating of multiple components
- Adaptable to working off different menus on a weekly basis
- Effective communication skills and proficient in English
- Outgoing personality
- Comfortable creating new dishes with several detailed plating components
