About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team in South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and technical support for industrial transmission products, including chains, bearings, hoses, belts, and related products. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your industry expertise and excellent communication skills to drive sales growth and build strong relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support for industrial transmission products
- Manage customer accounts, respond to queries, resolve issues, and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities
- Conduct site visits, provide technical consultations, and support field operations through inspections and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, logistics, technical) to ensure accurate and timely product delivery
- Stay current with product developments, participate in training, and train clients on product usage
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
- 510 years of technical experience in the transmission industry
- Strong hands-on knowledge of chains, bearings, hoses, belting, and related products
- Proven track record in customer service and account management
- Own reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
