About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Temp Quality Engineer: Electrical to join our team at Abantu Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our electrical engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring that motor vehicle components perform consistently to specification throughout their life cycle. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the motor vehicle components perform consistently to specification throughout the life cycle of the component
- Implement continuous improvement by identifying the root cause of part deviation from specification and correcting the deviation in all phases of the life cycle of the part
- Testing and evaluating the performance of parts according to the specification
- Provide the required technical expertise for complete parts with respect to material and function
- Initiate design improvements for complex problems with electrical parts and harnesses
Requirements
- Affirmative Action South African citizen
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of applicable motor vehicle parts, their function, applicable specifications, part manufacturing processes and testing methods
- Sound technical knowledge of motor vehicle harnesses and electrical components
Qualifications
- Completed National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
