Employer Description A multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy that undertakes civil and building projects. Job Description You will be reporting to the Lead Engineer, and your responsibilities will include: Responsible for the design, project management, contract administration within the civil department. Performing pipelines, pumpstations, hydraulics design from inception to final design in accordance with design standards Design software knowledge Excellent understanding of engineering concepts and application of knowledge, Good understanding of industry codes and standards Checking and verifying designs Liaising with clients where required. Developing an understanding of industry codes and standards and client specifications and client expectations. Developing an understanding of relevant legislation and regulations Qualifications BTech /National Diploma in Civil Engineering ECSA registration Pr TechEng / PrTechni – advantageous Skills MS Office Applications, MS Project Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil Designer, Civil 3D 8 to 10 years experience in the design and delivery of engineering projects in urban development, project management, contractual administration, and design Experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment, Pumpstations, Sizing Pumps and Pipeline Designs
