Job Summary
- Coordinate, schedule, and organise underground utility projects from start-up to close-out
- Track project progress and financials, ensuring timeous handover to site teams
- Prepare and manage documentation including permit applications, production data, traffic plans, and site inspections
- Order materials, process variations or additional work, and maintain up-to-date project records
- Act as the key point of contact between internal stakeholders and external clients
- Support a multidisciplinary project team and keep communication flowing across all phases of delivery
Experience & Qualifications
- National Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
- Alternatively, an N6 Certificate with relevant technical experience in infrastructure or utilities
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a work planning, project coordination, or site-based role in underground services (gas, water, or electricity)
- Strong administrative, multitasking, and organisational abilities
- Comfortable working with digital planning tools and documentation systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently across teams
- Valid driver’s licence required
