Job Description
- Manage and lead the new vehicle sales department to achieve sales volume, gross profit, and CSI targets
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with OEM and dealership objectives
- Recruit, train, coach, and performance-manage new vehicle sales executives
- Ensure optimal stock levels, model mix, and ageing control in line with OEM guidelines
- Drive lead management processes from enquiry to delivery, ensuring high conversion rates
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and reporting
- Ensure compliance with OEM sales standards, CI requirements, and audit processes
- Collaborate with Marketing, Finance & Insurance, and Aftersales departments
- Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure excellent customer experience
- Manage departmental budgets and cost controls
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a New Vehicle Sales Management role within a passenger vehicle dealership
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of OEM processes, sales reporting, and dealership operations
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- OEM brand certification or manufacturer training
- Experience working within a high-volume or multi-franchise dealership
- Knowledge of dealer management systems (DMS) and CRM platforms
- Key performance indicators
- Motor Industry experience ESSENTIAL!!
