Elchemie, a leading mineral processing company, is seeking a highly skilled Graduate/Junior Process Engineer to join our team in Rustenburg, North West. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide technical support to operational sites, drive data collection and analysis initiatives, and participate in project planning and execution. Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to operational sites
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement improvements to optimize plant performance
- Drive data collection and analysis initiatives to enhance process efficiency and product quality
- Participate in project planning, coordination, and execution as part of the project management team
- Manage the in-house laboratory, ensuring smooth daily operations and pilot-scale test work
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering (completed)
- 0 – 2 years of relevant working experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Based in Rustenburg, North West – must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- Valid South African ID
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary package: R20 000 – R25 000 CTC (including phone, housing, and travel allowance)
