? Assistant Accountant Wanted Luxury Wine Estate in Stellenbosch! ? Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a detail-driven Assistant Accountant to join the finance team at a luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch. If numbers are your love language and youve got a knack for keeping accounts balanced while sipping in the beauty of the winelands, this could be your perfect career move! What youll be doing: ? Capturing cash book entries and handling daily cash-up reconciliations ? Managing general ledger functions and journal entries ? Handling debtors invoices, account reconciliations, and collections ? Overseeing creditors invoices, reconciliations, and payments ? Stock administration, including invoice capturing and monthly stocktakes ? Petty cash management ? Ordering of centralised goods ? General office duties to support smooth operations What were looking for: ? Grade 12 + Qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping ? 3+ years experience in a similar role (hospitality industry experience a plus!) ? Excellent Microsoft Office skills ? Experience with Pastel (Sage) Evolution or similar accounting software ? Previous exposure to Easipos (advantageous) ? Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail ? Analytical, problem-solving, and ownership-driven mindset ? Professional, flexible, and able to collaborate across departments ?
