About the Role
We are seeking a skilled C++ Developer to join our team in Stellenbosch, South Africa. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance embedded systems using C++. If you have a passion for low-level programming, a keen eye for detail, and a love for debugging, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality embedded software using C++11 and beyond
- Implement memory layouts, interrupt handling, RTOS scheduling, and concurrency techniques
- Work closely with microcontrollers, datasheets, and hardware errata to optimize system performance
- Debug code using JTAG, oscilloscopes, or other tools as required
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
- Years of experience in embedded C++ development
- Strong understanding of memory layouts, interrupt handling, RTOS scheduling, and concurrency
- Familiarity with microcontrollers, datasheets, and hardware errata
Qualifications
- Formal education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar is not required but preferred.
