About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Business Manager to lead our logistics operations in Stellenbosch, Southern Africa. This role involves developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients and suppliers, and driving strategic growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, as well as managing volume contracts and negotiating new deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage new business development initiatives for level 1 and 2 logistics services in Southern Africa
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers through regular visits and negotiations
- Develop strategic plans to achieve business growth goals
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
- Supervise marketers compliance, risk mitigation, and technology innovation
- Analyse commodity trends and adapt to market fluctuations
- Manage volume contracts allocated to the company
- Negotiate new contracts with customers and suppliers
Requirements

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Commerce, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in logistics management or business development
- Strong knowledge of the Southern African market and industry trends
