Stellenbosch: FIXED TERM Ice-Cream Vendor (Delaire Graff Estate) posted by Delaire (Pty) Ltd

Delaire Graff Estate is looking for an Ice-Cream Vendor to provide excellent service to customers by greeting them with a smile and responding quickly and efficiently to their orders.

Main responsibilities:

• Set-up the station in the morning
• Prepare ice-cream desserts for the guests
• Assisting guests with their orders and making suggestions
• Maintaining cleanliness and appearance of the stand, by wiping down the stand in the morning and evening
• Sanitized work area
• Take inventory and place orders to maintain a functional stock of supplies (ice-cream, cones, cups, etc.)
• Store all ingredients in the relevant kitchens
• Operate card machine for payments
• Report to manager on duty with all transactions for the day, to process into the POS

Main requirements:

• Grade 12
• Preferably 1- 2 years previous in hospitality
• Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, public holidays, weekends)
• Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills
• Friendly demeanour & Outgoing personality
• Basic maths skills
• Attention to detail
• Productivity & Efficiency
• Self-disciplined
• Ability to cope under pressure
• Flexibility and Accountability
