About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Outbound Manager to join our team at iStaff Ltd in Stellenbosch. As a key member of our export fruit quality control team, you will be responsible for managing and dispatching pallets to various destinations, including the USA.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inventory counts in the morning to verify pallet stock
- Monitor and manage pallet stock levels to plan daily dispatch volumes
- Perform stock ageing analyses to ensure effective stock rotation, following the FIFO principle
- Verify that all carton labels and pallet details are correct prior to PPECB inspections
- Correctly identify and number sample pallets for PPECB verification
- Assist PPECB inspectors by providing samples and taking them to the inspection room
- Schedule PPECB inspections in advance to ensure clearance prior to shipment
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification advantageous
- Very strong administration skills
- Understanding of export fruit quality standards (advantageous)
- Computer literate (Excel essential)
- Keen eye for detail
- General business understanding and outbound management exposure
- Own transport required
Qualifications
