About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Stellenbosch. As a senior representative of the retailer, you will be responsible for achieving sales and revenue goals for new and used bikes, while acting as an energetic role model to the team and advocating for the brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets for the company
- Motivate, coach, and develop the sales team
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Oversee and optimize the sales process and lead management
- Stay current with market trends, competitor activity, and company product offerings
- Promote and manage retail financing and insurance sales
- Support marketing initiatives and campaigns
Requirements
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- Business diploma or equivalent tertiary qualification in Management/Marketing/Sales
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in managing successful sales teams within the automotive retail environment
- Minimum 7 to 10 years’ experience in a sales environment
- Working knowledge and experience of sales processes, lead management, and online sales principles
- Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint proficient)
- Applicable and valid driver’s license (motorcycle license would be an advantage)
Qualifications
- A Business diploma or equivalent tertiary qualification in Management/Marketing/Sales
