Hire Resolve is excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Professional Quantity Surveyor to join a well-respected firm in Stellenbosch. This position is ideal for candidates with extensive experience in quantity surveying and project management, looking to take the next step in their careers.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of quantity surveying from the initial project stage through to completion.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender documentation.
• Evaluate bids, negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules to ensure adherence.
• Provide expert advice on procurement and contractual matters.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to management and clients.
• Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors and support staff.

• BSc or BTech in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Registration as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with SACQSP.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Extensive knowledge of construction contracts and procurement methods.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capability.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in software such as CCS Candy and MS Project.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent in English; additional languages would be an advantage.
