We are seeking a Surveillance Manager to lead our security surveillance operations. The Surveillance Manager is responsible for maintaining steady observation of personnel, monitoring the surveillance system, and ensuring that all policies, procedures, regulations, and health and safety standards across the Estate are followed.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee all surveillance and monitoring operations across the property.
• Manage the operation of CCTV systems and other security technologies.
• Lead, train, and develop the Control Room team to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits of security systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Work closely with the Head of Security & Facilities and other departments to investigate incidents and implement preventative measures.
• Prepare reports on security breaches, incidents, and system functionality.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and technologies in surveillance and security management.
• Conduct regular team briefings, skills training, and performance appraisals.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security standards.
• Assist in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) by monitoring for hazards through surveillance systems, reporting risks, and supporting OHS investigations.

Main Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification (a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous).
• 35 years experience in security surveillance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven experience with CCTV systems and other electronic surveillance equipment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required.
