Lodge Manager – Luxury Lodge – Thabazimbi Negotiable DOE | Live In Kendrick Recruitment is currently recruiting for a luxury lodge based in Thabazimbi. Our client is seeking an experienced Lodge Manager to oversee all aspects of lodge operations, lead staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities • Lead and supervise staff across all lodge departments to ensure operational efficiency • Oversee overall lodge operations and delegate tasks effectively to the management team • Assist with administrative duties and prepare month-end reports • Ensure the lodge operates within budget and manage financial performance • Operate POS systems to manage charges, corrections, and transactions • Maintain high service standards and ensure guest satisfaction • Organise and supervise the team to perform efficiently and to lodge standards Requirements • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in lodge management • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences • Ability to mentor, train, and motivate team members at all levels • Strong organisational, logistical planning, and time management skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Business-oriented with problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities • Ability to analyse and control costs, losses, and budgets • Resilient under stress and pressure Qualifications • Grade 12 required • Qualification in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Management, or a relevant field advantageous • Valid driver’s licence • Additional languages other than English advantageous Package Details • Salary: Negotiable DOE • Accommodation on property and meals provided • Work cycle and leave as per lodge policies
