As Sous Chef, youll be second-in-command but first in precision helping lead a talented team to deliver unforgettable meals in an unforgettable setting. What Youll Be Doing: Support the Head Chef in leading day-to-day kitchen operations Ensure every dish from high tea to harvest-style dinners is on point Keep the kitchen running like a dream, even when the pressures on Mentor junior staff and help build a strong, supportive brigade Oversee food prep, stock levels, and kitchen cleanliness like a pro Bring creativity to the menu while honouring local ingredients Work across services: breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner, picnics, and private dining Make sure every plate reflects our commitment to quality, taste, and luxury Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards What Success Looks Like: Flawless food that gets rave reviews and second helpings A team that trusts you and grows under your guidance Creative specials and elevated lodge classics Clean service, clean books, and clean plates Guests who remember the food and the feeling What You Bring to the Pass: Minimum 2 years in a similar role, within luxury lodges, boutique hotels, or fine dining Solid technical skills and a cool head during service Passion for great food and even better guest experiences A love for nature, seasonality, and local ingredients Excellent communication and a collaborative spirit Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices Confidence, curiosity, and a commitment to consistency Why Join Us?
