• Maintenance on all electrical equipment 
• Fault finding and repair on all electrical equipment 
• Perform changes to base documentation i.e. Manuals, P&ID and all instrumentation drawings 
• Identify and inform Team Leader of any health or safety hazards in the plant 
• Perform shift duty on the plant if required 
• Maintain OHASA standards and ensure high levels of housekeeping 
• Perform after-hour standby duty on the plant

Job Requirements: 

• Grade 12 or equivalent 
• Minimum N3 Electrical Engineering qualification 
• Recognized Electrical Trade Test 
• Wireman’s License will be advantageous
• Minimum 5 years’ post Trade Test experience as an Electrician 
• Manufacturing environment experience would be advantageous

Skills: 

• Competency to conduct electrical inspections, repairs, installations and issue CoC 
• Problem solving and analytical skills 
• Computer literate 
• Basic PLC and SCADA knowledge (Allen Bradley and Siemens) 
• Basic Frequency drive knowledge (Allen Bradley and SEW)
