Job Summary
The Material Control Analyst ensures the timely and economical supply of quality CKD and direct purchase components to production, aligning with customer demands and company objectives for quality, costs, and schedules. Key
Responsibilities:
Control inventory to address shortages, surplus, obsolescence, and production runouts. Order parts and resolve part shortage issues. Manage engineering changes and monitor stock movements. Control budgets for airfreight, road haulage, inventory, and claims. Analyze critical parts reports and initiate stock count requests. Ensure accurate stock receipts and forecast volumes. Liaise with logistics service providers, expeditors, and Product Engineering to meet production demands and minimize obsolescence. Qualifications: National Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Purchasing, Materials, or Inventory Management. Experience: Minimum 3 years of materials/inventory experience in the automotive industry. 12 years of SAP Systems experience in a production/warehousing environment. Key Skills: Strong understanding of logistics concepts and production systems. Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint proficiency. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and systematic thinking.
