Responsible for development and implementation of production processes, procedures and its equipment. Leading productivity improvements with project-based activities, including new product introduction to improve quality and safety, and reduce operating costs.

Duties:

Assembly Product Role : Lead a cross-functional team of engineers to investigate and resolve product and process deviations. Audit Findings Analysis : Analyze and close out audit findings by implementing corrective actions to improve overall quality, DRR, and reduce reworks according to plant KPIs. Monitoring and Optimization : Oversee, set, and optimize fitment-related fixtures and gauges in assembly, including establishing checks and developing new gauges. Product and Process Improvements : Propose and develop changes for series production to enhance build/assembly processes and reduce reworks. Controlled Reworks Management : Develop, agree upon, and implement controlled reworks for out-of-specification parts/fitment problems to maintain stable production and quality until corrective actions are fully deployed. Drive Issue Escalation : Escalate product and process issues to KPM and FAP Management meetings to ensure corrective actions are implemented. Problem Presentation : Prepare and present detailed analyses of product and process problems, along with corrective action plans, in various management forums (e.g., DKA, FVA, FAP, TOP-Q, SFM, Projects, and Cubing meetings) to communicate progress towards quality and production targets. Qualification requirements National Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelors Degree in Mechatronics Experience needed A minimum of 3 years relevant experience within an automotive or engineering environment Essentials Knowledge and experience in Vehicle Build and Manufacturing Process Analytical ability and creativity for problem solving Must be computer literate (MS Office) Good communication skills, team player, high engagement and self-driven ability
