Responsibilities:

Conduct pre-employment and pre-placement medical examinations. Implement periodic screenings and surveillance programs. Perform exit/termination medical exams to assess health impacts from the work environment. Treat and follow up on injuries sustained on duty (IOD) and evaluate fitness to resume work. Provide care for non-work-related illnesses and injuries. Educate employees about health topics, including HIV/AIDS, and offer pre- and post-test counseling. Handle administrative tasks such as record keeping, statistics, sick leave administration, and medicine control. Qualifications: Diploma in Nursing Science. Certificate in Occupational Health Nursing. Registration with the South African Nursing Council. Experience: Minimum of 2 years relevant nursing experience.
