Job Summary
Job Opportunity: Junior Operations Assistant
Location: Umhlanga
Job Functions:
- Receiving & confirming fuel orders.
- Consulting with transports for documentation and processing.
- Processing documentation in the Operations department and for contractors, including ordering lifting slips (Cash, Terms & COC).
- Controlling and planning the delivery/load schedule.
- Data capturing for all processing in the operations department.
- Controlling and monitoring deliveries nationally.
- Addressing client queries.
Requirements:
- Matric (with Maths and Accounting).
- 2-3 years of administration experience in the road freight industry.
- 2-3 years of experience with electronic processing systems (experience with SAP, Pastel, or other systems is advantageous).
- 2-3 years of knowledge in the petroleum industry (fueling on road and bulk).
- Understanding the impact of your role on service delivery to both internal and external customers with a strong customer service mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours in line with business requirements, including alternate weekends.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliable transport.
