About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Risk & Compliance Administrator to join our dynamic team in Umhlanga Rocks. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the Risk & Compliance sector and develop valuable skills that will support your career progression within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in organising client audits
- Completing client questionnaires and due diligence documentation
- Updating and maintaining databases and folder structures
- Logging and investigating incidents, including drafting incident reports
- Reviewing contracts and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
- Assisting with Practising Certificate and Insurance renewals
- Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of SRA, Law Society of Scotland, Law Society of Northern Ireland, and Law Society of Ireland regulations
- Promoting best practise at all times, acting as a positive role model for the firm’s ethos and values
- Ensuring strict confidentiality for all projects and sensitive information
- Accurately updating documents, logs, and spreadsheets, and following up on outstanding actions
- Liaising with various departments to gather information and support business needs
- Scheduling and preparing documents, presentations, and statistics for meetings
- Attending meetings, taking minutes, and managing follow-up action logs with team members
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues across the business and confidently engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Adhering to and promoting awareness of firm standards, policies, and working practises as outlined in training materials and intranet resources
- Ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act (DPA) in handling all firm and client documentation and information
Requirements
- Strong IT skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent organisational abilities that enable you to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively while meeting deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
