Job Summary
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Butler to join a luxury private game lodge in the Welgevonden Game Reserve. This live-in position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality, guest service, and working in a remote, nature-filled environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping and maintenance of own guest rooms
-
Hosting duties, including guest interactions and providing a personalised service
-
Front of house responsibilities such as check-ins, welcome drinks, and general guest relations
-
Ensuring all guest areas are maintained to a high standard
-
Delivering exceptional service throughout the guest stay
Key Requirements:
-
Previous experience in a similar role within a hospitality environment is advantageous
-
High attention to detail and strong guest service skills
-
Flexibility and willingness to perform a variety of duties
-
Ability to work independently and manage personal responsibilities
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Must be comfortable living and working in a remote bush environment
Package Includes:
-
R7,000 salary per month
-
Live-in accommodation in a staff house (own room, shared kitchen/lounge and bathroom facilities)
-
R500 food allowance per week
-
3 weeks on / 1 week off work cycle
-
Tips are not pooled each Butler receives individual tips from their own rooms
