Job Discription

• Must have control over workshop
• Ensure that housekeeping is doen on a daily basis
• Handle all work in proses in trailer repair workshop
• Provide excellent pre and post sale service
• Ensure work is done on a daily basis
• To ensure work is completed in the quoted hours and delivery date as per quotation and as per agreed on with client
• Compiling of daily, weekly, monthly reports
• Evaluation of damaged trailers
• Build strong and sound customer relationships
• Liaise with clients and estimators on a daily basis to ensure proper planning
• Quality control on the work being done throughout repair
• Material inspection daily liaising with stores to ensure proper material planning
• Maintain discipline on the floor ad making sure that target is reached
• Evaluate the skills level of the production team
• Provide additional training to team where needed
• Must be able to manage labor hours on a daily basis as well as overtime
• Ad-hoc tasks

Requirements

• Matric
• Bilingual
• Must be well acquainted with health and safety regulations and insure that it is practices accordingly
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the trailer manufacturing and repairs
• Minimum of 3 years experience in supervisory role
• Qualification in Trade (Boilermaker, Diesel Mechanic, Fitter) will be advantage
• Own transport
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Extensive trailer and trailer part knowledge
• Business development, finding new clients and maintain client relations
• Must be able to perform well under pressure
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Must be a team player
• Must be determent and able to preserve
• Excellent communication skills
• Energetic and able to initiate action
• Apply professional and technical expertise
• Must have excellent planning ability
