About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Foreman to join our team at Route Management in Vereeniging. The ideal candidate will have control over a workshop, excellent communication skills, and be able to build strong customer relationships. With a minimum of 5 years experience in trailer manufacturing and repairs, you will be responsible for managing labor hours, ensuring quality control, and maintaining discipline on the floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all work in process in trailer repair workshop
- Provide excellent pre and post sale service
- Ensure that housekeeping is done on a daily basis
- Evaluate the skills level of the production team
- Provide additional training to team where needed
- Manage labor hours on a daily basis as well as overtime
- Liaise with clients and estimators on a daily basis to ensure proper planning
- Compile daily, weekly, monthly reports
- Evaluation of damaged trailers
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in trailer manufacturing and repairs
- Minimum of 3 years experience in supervisory role
- Qualification in Trade (Boilermaker, Diesel Mechanic, Fitter) will be an advantage
- Own transport
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Extensive trailer and trailer part knowledge
- Business development, finding new clients and maintain client relations

- Bilingual
- Minimum of 3 years experience in supervisory role
- Qualification in Trade (Boilermaker, Diesel Mechanic, Fitter)
