About the Role
The Receiving Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth receipt of goods, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the receiving team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and compliance with purchase orders
- Coordinate unloading, checking, and proper storage of goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems accordingly
- Resolve discrepancies, damages, or shortages with suppliers and internal teams
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and company policies
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse departments
- Train and develop receiving staff to improve performance and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in a receiving, warehouse, or logistics management role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling
- Familiarity with basic computer skills
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (if applicable)
